Agreement

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Attic Inc., a Colorado corporation. By using our service you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service.

The service

Attic provides sealed bins, scheduled pickup and delivery of those bins, and climate-controlled storage in our Denver facility. We do our best; we don't promise perfection, but we promise to make things right when we fall short.

Pricing & billing

  • $12 per bin per month, charged monthly to the card on file.
  • The first empty-bin delivery is free. One additional pickup or delivery per bin per month is included.
  • Extra trips beyond the included one are $15 each and always shown before you confirm.
  • Fees begin when a bin enters our facility and stop when it's returned to you or marked "send back."
  • Failed deliveries (nobody home, no access) incur a $10 attempt fee.

The bins

Bins are Attic's property. You're responsible for not destroying, defacing, or losing them. Normal wear is expected. A replacement fee of $40 applies to bins that are lost or damaged beyond reasonable use.

What you can't store

For safety, law, and the sake of everyone whose stuff is in our facility, you agree not to put any of these in a bin:

  • Anything illegal to possess or transport.
  • Hazardous or flammable materials (paint, fuel, batteries above household-size, fireworks).
  • Perishable food, liquids, plants, or living things of any kind.
  • Firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
  • Cash, precious metals, gemstones, or jewelry.
  • Irreplaceable documents (originals of deeds, passports, wills).
  • Art or collectibles appraised above $2,000 per bin.
  • Human or animal remains. (Yes, we have to say this.)

If we find prohibited items during intake, we may refuse the bin, return it at your cost, or involve authorities as appropriate.

Loss & insurance

Every bin carries up to $2,000 of coverage for loss or damage caused by Attic, at no extra charge. This coverage doesn't apply to prohibited items, items you failed to declare honestly, or damage caused by your own packing (e.g. an unpadded glass vase jostled by its neighbors).

Our total liability is capped at the covered amount per bin. Claims must be filed within 30 days of return.

Access & disputes

Only you and people you authorize in the app can schedule pickup or return of your bins. We verify identity at handoff. If there's a dispute (e.g. a bin you ordered back never arrived), contact support@attic.it.com — we aim to respond within one business day.

Termination

You can cancel any bin or close your account at any time from the app. We'll retrieve your bins at no cost and end billing at your next cycle. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to store prohibited items, or harass our team.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you can't waive under applicable law — including Colorado consumer protections.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Colorado. Disputes will be resolved in Denver County courts, unless you elect small claims where available.
